Meir has over 24 years of extensive managerial and technological experience, with a wide experience in the global arena. Meir serves as the Chief Global Strategy Officer of Arison Investment and as a Director in Bank Hapoalim, which is part of the Arison Group.

Prior to joining Miya Meir managed a private equity VC fund which focused on innovative technology, and was also the Chairman of EMI as well as a director in several global startup companies. Prior to that Meir served as the deputy CEO of Comverse Technologies and prior to that as the Real Time Division Manager at Nortel.

Meir holds a BSc in Computer Science and a BA in Political Science, and an MBA from Northwestern University in Chicago.
