Efrat Peled

Efrat Peled is the Chairman of Arison Investments. Previously, she was the company's CEO, a post she held from 2006 until September, 2009. Since 2003, she has also served as President of SAFO, Miami, Florida, which manages all of Shari Arison's global businesses.

 

Peled manages, develops and supports ventures that yield high financial returns for the company, while at the same time bringing positive added value to Israel and the world.

 

She has extensive international executive experience of management in the financial, operational and philanthropic sectors. Drawing on her special expertise in managing complex and wide-ranging investment portfolios and in coordinating joint operations with leading investment banks and top international financial institutions, Peled oversees the operations of multibillion-dollar global funds.

 

Peled sits on the board of directors of Bank Hapoalim, Israel's largest bank, and is a member of several of the board's committees. She is also a member of the board of directors of Shikun & Binui, one of Israel's largest real estate and infrastructures groups, and of Israel Salt Industries. In addition, Peled serves as a director on the board of Miya.

 

In all of her positions, Peled advances the strategy and operations of Arison Investments' subsidiaries, and works to locate significant long-term investments that are compatible with the company's values and strategic goals.

 

In 2009, Peled was chosen to join the World Economic Forum's prestigious Forum of Young Global Leaders.

 

A licensed CPA, Peled holds an MBA from Kellogg-Recanati, an international program of Northwestern and Tel Aviv universities. She also holds a BA in Accounting and Economics and a postgraduate diploma in Real Estate Appraisal and Management from Tel Aviv University.

 

Prior to her current positions in the Arison Group, Peled served as CFO of the Ted Arison Family Foundation in Israel and the United States.
