Ran has 16 years of experience specializing in business development. He was particularly active in the penetration of environmental technologies into new markets throughout the world. He also has substantial experience in introducing new technologies into conservative markets, such as agriculture and infrastructure.

Between 2002 and 2007, Ran was a divisional director in Netafim, the largest micro-irrigation manufacture in the world. Prior to that, Ran worked for several leading Israel companies as the marketing and business development manager. Ran holds a MBA and a B.Sc. in Soil and Water studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
