MIYA has been awarded several prestigious awards for its global water efficiency projects, including IWA Project Innovation Award two years in a row (2013 and 2014), and shortlisted for the prestigious 2014 GWI Performance Initiative of the Year Prize, for our mega-scale projects in the Philippines and the Bahamas as well as GWI Water Company of the Year (2020).
MIYA also received the 2010 GWI Project of the Year Award, for our advanced pressure management installation in South Africa, and the 2009 GWI Sustainability Award presented to MIYA by the then-US Vice President Al Gore.
In 2020, MIYA and the Jamaican National Water Commission (NWC) received the WEX 2020 Award for Innovation in the Field of Infrastructure with regards to their NRW-Reduction Co-Management Program executed in Kingston, Jamaica.
In 2021, MIYA and the Bahamas Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC) have received the WEX 2021 award for Innovation in Financial Partnership with regards to their Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Reduction Projects executed in New Providence, the main island of the Bahamas.
Addiotnally, in 2023 MIYA's Co-Management Project in Portmore, Jamaica, and National Water Commission Honored with Prestigious WEX 2023 Award for Innovation in Building Healthy Watersheds
