The yearly event of the Water Loss Task Force (of the IWA) over 450 people registered from over 40 countries.
Miya played an active role in both the conference and exhibition.
The conference itself took place over three days and included over 100 papers split into 3 parallel sessions.
Miya's experts delivered several very good papers.
The conference ended with a gala dinner sponsored by Miya and attended by over 300 delegates.
Arison Group launches Miya
VIENNA, AUSTRIA, September 2008 - The Arison Group announced today that it had formed a global water company called Miya and invested $100 million to assemble the world's foremost thought-leadership to find solutions for municipalities and utilities concerning water loss management issues. The creation of Miya was announced by Arison Group Chairman Shari Arison, during the prestigious International Water Congress that began here this week. She termed Miya's launch a "significant part of the implementation of our vision of investing in businesses that bring an added value to the world."

Miya-Veritec booth awarded "Best of Show" silver prize at ACE

Veritec and Miya Water recently participated at the AWWA annual conference and exposition in San Diego, California (14 - 17 June 2009). The Veritec and Miya booth was awarded the "Best of Show" silver prize for medium booth size by the AWWA. The AWWA conference is the largest water industry conference in North America attracting over 10,000 delegates each year.
