VIENNA, AUSTRIA, September 2008 - The Arison Group announced today that it had formed a global water company called Miya and invested $100 million to assemble the world's foremost thought-leadership to find solutions for municipalities and utilities concerning water loss management issues. The creation of Miya was announced by Arison Group Chairman Shari Arison, during the prestigious International Water Congress that began here this week. She termed Miya's launch a "significant part of the implementation of our vision of investing in businesses that bring an added value to the world."
